I’m chronically late

That’s right! You heard me! I’m chronically late!

Our basketball camps are scheduled to go either 60 or 75 minutes. Despite that, I usually go over by 5 – 10 minutes, and sometimes longer.

Am I that unorganized? Am I incompetent? Do I just say, “Hell with it!” to anger the parents?

The answer is emphatically NO! I’m not unorganized. I’m definitely not incompetent. And the last persons I want to anger are the parents!

So, why do I chronically go over the time?

Here’s the deal! Growing up in Philly, I’ve seen and experienced things as a kid that no kid should ever have to endure! Before I graduated from high school, I had 3 guns pulled on me. I grew up amongst drug dealers. I’ve been in many, many street fights. You get the drift?!

At Youth Hoops, my feeling is if the kids are having fun, learning valuable life lessons, and most importantly, staying out of trouble, why not extend the camp time to allow the kids to do their thing?! I love the kids!!!

This is why I’m chronically late!

Our basketball camps are perfect vehicles for your kid to learn a skill, mature as a young man or woman, and have fun, all at the same time!
